Robobai’s platform quickly classified our spend data, using AI to analyse descriptive information on invoices, purchase orders and credit cards. We can now see all of our spend classified to level four taxonomy, and can view the data by category, division, supplier and numerous other dimensions such as customer or project. The enhanced visibility has enabled our procurement team to improve insight and identify opportunities

Inghams Enterprises, commonly known as Inghams, is an Australian-based company listed on the ASX and supplier/producer of poultry and fodder.
Being a large fast moving consumer goods organisation with multiple site locations, the biggest challenge at Inghams was the consolidation of spend data in one single platform and source of truth. Robobai has been working closely with Inghams to classify spend using AI, enabling spend visibility at most granular levels with over 95% classification accuracy identifying predictive saving insights not seen before.
In addition, the contract lifecycle management (CLM) application on the platform has greatly helped to keep Inghams procurement and the wider business more informed and better able to manage the supplier contracts. The CLM provides alerts for expiring contracts well in advance which helps category managers to take a proactive approach, in addition to running a range of contract analytics to improve contract and supplier performance.
Now we have our spend and our contracts in one platform, we can now measure supplier and contract compliance, we can see savings leakage and risk so we can act fast. It has been exciting journey alongside Robobai to unlock the potential of spend data analytics, unleashing cost saving opportunities for the organisation.
