Why Robobai is Considered Cool: Robobai provides a spend analytics platform that pushes AI spend insights to organizations rather than just being a reporting engine. Robobai uses industry-specific AI bots to improve data cleansing and classification. This results in faster turnaround times and lower classification errors compared to the typical rule-based cleansing process used by most vendors in the space. Robobai also offers a contract management module to provide customers with a contract repository, contract compliance information and analytics. Robobai uses an AI bot to extract key contract metadata, such as contract value, expiration date and supplier, to expedite legacy contract data loads. Combining spend and contract data, AI savings bots highlight additional savings opportunities. Examples of their output include:

  • Consolidating spend within commodity categories with too many suppliers
  • Taking control of a spend category with little contract coverage
  • Identifying item pricing that is out of line with contracted amounts
  • Identifying contract payment terms that are out of line with ERP payment terms

Robobai identifies responsible procurement practices by checking categories and vendors that have a high risk of slave labour within their supply chains. It also suggests alternate local/socially good supplier options. Robobai defines “social good” suppliers as those that are operating in depressed communities, providing jobs to underemployed groups, or owned by protected groups.

Who Should Care: IT application leaders, as well as those responsible for procurement, finance and treasury. Companies operating in Australia would have the added benefit of the socially responsible procurement functionality.

Such a glowing endorsement is a wonderful testament to our recent achievements here at Robobai and should be seen as further evidence of our market-leading position at the forefront of the procurement software space.
